On my way to the bus stop a few weeks ago, I heard a strange sound down the road and saw this fellow at the end of our neighbour’s driveway.

I suspect that he started neighing incessantly in the middle of the night and this is where our neighbour put him so that everyone could sleep.

I brought home an Air Swimmer Shark and the whole family loved it.  Our son was actually pretty good at making it fly around the house.  This photo captures the pure joy of my son playing with his shark friend.  I love it.

One of the perks of my wife’s job at a toy store is that we sometimes get to try out new stock. The employee discounts are awesome, too.

Fun with superabsorbent polymers. Originally created for agricultural purposes, they now show up in diapers and the material used to mop up oil spills. Oh, and in children’s grow-in-water toys.
