T’is the season to be balling…
Not to give too much away, but the place I work at collects vital statistics for Alberta, including births. Nine months ago, a reporter from Global National asked for a set of recent birth stats. His analysis was just published:
Birth records from four provinces shows an apparent peak in conceptions in the last three weeks of December.
The December pattern corresponds to a peak in births in mid-to-late September, a pattern seen consistently in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia over multiple years.
They do say Santa only comes once a year.
